Privacy Policy – Counter
In short
Counter has no account and no server of ours. Your counters and their history stay on your phone unless you export them to a file; the app's own code sends nothing to us or to any server. The only network traffic comes from Google's advertising software, which shows the banner at the bottom of the screen.
What stays on your phone
- Your counters: name, colour, target, whether it counts up or down, count, laps, their group, their position in the list, and when each was created and last changed.
- The groups you make: their names, their order, and when each was created.
- The daily history of each counter.
- Your settings: vibration, sound, muting in silent mode, theme, and on Android 12 and older the language you chose in the app.
They are kept in the app's private storage and are excluded from Android's cloud backup. The app never sends them to us or to any server, and we never receive them.
Export and import: if you choose Settings → Export, the app writes your counters, your groups and the counters' history to a file at the place you pick in the system file picker – your phone's storage, or a cloud drive you select there, in which case that service's own terms apply. Import reads only the file you pick and, as you choose, adds its counters and groups to yours or replaces your current counters, groups and history with them. The app sends the file nowhere else, and we never receive it.
What the app's own code sends
Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting and no code of ours that connects to a network. Through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, however, the app does collect and share the data listed under Advertising below; that is what Counter's Data safety section on Google Play declares.
Advertising
A banner ad is shown by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob). That SDK connects from your phone directly to Google and automatically collects and shares, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location;
- app interactions, such as app launches, taps and ad views;
- diagnostic information, such as app launch time, hang rate and energy use;
- device and account identifiers: the Android advertising ID, the app set ID and, where applicable, identifiers related to accounts signed in on the device. When no advertising ID is available, Google may use an identifier that is specific to this app.
This data is encrypted in transit. It goes to Google and to the advertising technology providers Google works with; in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland they are listed in the consent form. Your choices
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choice before ads are personalised. You can change or withdraw it at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy options.
- Counter asks for non-personalised ads unless you have given consent in that form. Non-personalised ads still use identifiers and your IP address to deliver the ad, prevent fraud, limit how often an ad is shown and produce aggregated reports.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, in your phone's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on the phone).
Sharing and selling
We do not sell data, and we receive none from the app. The data listed under Advertising is sent by Google's SDK directly from your phone to Google and its advertising partners, as described above.
Retention and deletion
We hold no data from the app about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. Deleting a counter deletes it and its history; clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app deletes everything the app stored. A file you exported is not part of the app's storage and none of these remove it: delete it where you saved it. Data collected by Google is kept and deleted under Google's policies; resetting or deleting your advertising ID breaks its link to past activity.
Security
Everything the app stores stays in Android's per-app sandbox. An exported file is plain, unencrypted text: anyone or any app that can open the place you saved it can read it. The app makes no network connections of its own; the advertising SDK's traffic is encrypted.
Permissions
- Internet – used only by the advertising SDK.
- Vibration – the short vibration on each count.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK adds the permissions it needs itself, such as network state and the advertising ID. The complete list is shown on Counter's Google Play page.
This page and email
This page is a plain static file: no cookies, no scripts, no tracking. Like any web server, the one serving it may record basic request data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for security; it is not used for anything else and is not linked to the app. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them on request.
Children
Counter is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
Changes
If the app ever collects or sends anything new, this page is updated, with a new date, before that version is released.

Uygulamanın kendi kodunun gönderdikleri
Hiçbir şey. Uygulamada analiz, çökme raporlama ya da ağa bağlanan bize ait bir kod yoktur. Ancak uygulama, Google Mobile Ads SDK'sı aracılığıyla aşağıdaki «Reklam» bölümünde sayılan verileri toplar ve paylaşır; Sayaç'ın Google Play'deki Veri güvenliği bölümünde beyan edilen de budur.
Reklam
Banner reklamı Google Mobile Ads SDK'sı (Google AdMob) gösterir. Bu SDK telefonunuzdan doğrudan Google'a bağlanır ve reklam, analiz ve dolandırıcılığı önleme amacıyla kendiliğinden şunları toplar ve paylaşır:
- IP adresiniz — genel konumunuzu tahmin etmekte kullanılabilir;
- uygulama etkileşimleri — uygulamanın açılması, dokunuşlar, reklam görüntülemeleri gibi;
- tanılama bilgisi — uygulamanın açılış süresi, donma oranı, enerji kullanımı gibi;
- cihaz ve hesap kimlikleri: Android reklam kimliği, uygulama seti kimliği ve varsa cihazda oturum açmış hesaplarla ilgili kimlikler. Reklam kimliği yoksa Google bu uygulamaya özgü bir kimlik kullanabilir.
Bu veriler aktarım sırasında şifrelenir. Google'a ve Google'ın çalıştığı reklam teknolojisi sağlayıcılarına gider; Avrupa Ekonomik Alanı (AEA), Birleşik Krallık ve İsviçre'de bu sağlayıcılar rıza formunda listelenir. Seçenekleriniz
- AEA, Birleşik Krallık ve İsviçre'de, reklamlar kişiselleştirilmeden önce Google'ın rıza formu seçiminizi sorar. Seçiminizi uygulamada Ayarlar → Reklam gizlilik seçenekleri'nden istediğiniz zaman değiştirebilir ya da geri alabilirsiniz.
- Sayaç, o formda rıza vermediyseniz kişiselleştirilmemiş reklam ister. Kişiselleştirilmemiş reklamlar da reklamı iletmek, dolandırıcılığı önlemek, bir reklamın kaç kez gösterileceğini sınırlamak ve toplu raporlar üretmek için kimlikleri ve IP adresinizi kullanır.
- Reklam kimliğinizi telefonunuzun ayarlarından sıfırlayabilir ya da silebilir, reklam kişiselleştirmeyi kapatabilirsiniz (telefona göre Ayarlar → Gizlilik → Reklamlar ya da Ayarlar → Google → Reklamlar).
Paylaşım ve satış
Veri satmayız, uygulamadan hiçbir veri de almayız. «Reklam» bölümünde sayılan veriler, yukarıda anlatıldığı gibi Google'ın SDK'sı tarafından telefonunuzdan doğrudan Google'a ve reklam ortaklarına gönderilir.
Saklama ve silme
Uygulamadan gelen, sizinle ilgili hiçbir veri tutmayız; bu yüzden bizim tarafımızda silinecek bir şey yoktur. Bir sayacı silmek onu ve geçmişini siler; uygulamanın depolamasını temizlemek ya da uygulamayı kaldırmak uygulamanın sakladığı her şeyi siler. Dışa aktardığınız bir dosya uygulamanın depolamasına ait değildir ve bunların hiçbiri onu silmez: onu kaydettiğiniz yerden siz silersiniz. Google'ın topladığı veriler Google'ın politikalarına göre saklanır ve silinir; reklam kimliğinizi sıfırlamak ya da silmek, onun geçmiş etkinlikle bağını koparır.
Güvenlik
Uygulamanın sakladığı her şey Android'in uygulamaya özel alanında kalır. Dışa aktarılan dosya şifresiz, düz metindir: kaydettiğiniz yere erişebilen herkes ya da her uygulama onu okuyabilir. Uygulama kendi başına hiçbir ağ bağlantısı kurmaz; reklam SDK'sının trafiği şifrelidir.
İzinler
- İnternet — yalnız reklam SDK'sı kullanır.
- Titreşim — her sayımdaki kısa titreşim.

Bu sayfa ve e-posta
Bu sayfa düz, statik bir dosyadır: çerez, betik ya da izleme yoktur. Her web sunucusu gibi, bu sayfayı sunan sunucu da güvenlik için temel istek bilgilerini (IP adresi, zaman, istenen sayfa, tarayıcı) kaydedebilir; bunlar başka bir amaçla kullanılmaz ve uygulamayla ilişkilendirilmez. Bize e-posta yazarsanız adresinizi ve iletinizi yalnız size cevap vermek için kullanır, isteğiniz üzerine sileriz.
Çocuklar
Sayaç 18 yaş ve üzeri kullanıcılar için tasarlanmıştır, çocuklara yönelik değildir.
Değişiklikler
Uygulama bir gün yeni bir şey toplar ya da gönderirse, bu sayfa o sürüm yayımlanmadan önce yeni tarihiyle güncellenir.
